Arrival & preparation
The tour begins at the operator’s base in Grindavík. After check-in, you receive a safety briefing and are fitted with overalls, helmet, gloves, and all required safety gear.
Volcanic buggy ride
You drive out onto rugged volcanic terrain shaped by recent eruptions, following off-road trails across lava fields and rough tracks on the Reykjanes Peninsula.
Fresh lava landscapes
The route takes you close to newly formed lava and craters, offering a rare opportunity to see how volcanic forces continue to reshape the land around Grindavík.
Scenic stops & return
Stops are made for views, photos, and short explanations from your guide before an exciting ride back to base, completing a compact but powerful volcanic adventure.
