Description

Geothermal bathing on the lake: Vök Baths is a modern geothermal bathing destination located on Lake Urriðavatn, just outside Egilsstaðir in East Iceland. The baths are built directly on the lake, creating a floating pool experience surrounded by calm waters and scenic landscapes.

Natural hot spring water: The geothermal water at Vök flows from hot springs deep beneath the lake. The water is exceptionally pure and is the only certified drinkable hot spring water in Iceland.

The bathing experience: Guests can enjoy a selection of geothermal pools, including floating pools, hot tubs, and a cold tunnel for contrast bathing. A sauna and relaxation areas complete the experience.

On-site café: The Vök Café serves herbal teas brewed from local herbs, along with soups, light dishes, and cakes made from organic ingredients sourced from local producers.
