Super Jeep into the backcountry: Getting to Þórsmörk is part of the thrill. You’ll ride in a capable 4x4 with unbridged river crossings and rugged tracks that turn the journey itself into an experience.
Choose the best trail for the day: The hike is adapted to weather, trail conditions and the group. Routes can range from lush valley walks to ridge hikes with big panoramas, all designed to deliver the best Thorsmork scenery on your date.

What do I need to bring
- Hiking boots with good grip (recommended)
- Warm layers (base layer + fleece)
- Waterproof and windproof outer layer
- Hat and gloves
- Small backpack with water and snacks
- Optional: packed lunch (or add a lunchbox during booking if available)

- This is a moderate to challenging hiking day (physical difficulty around 3–4 out of 5).
- Duration is typically 7–8 hours total, depending on conditions and the route chosen.
- Minimum age: 13 years.
- Season is typically May–October (weather dependent).
- There is a minimum number of participants required for departure. If the minimum is not met, you’ll be offered alternatives or a full refund.
- Lunch is not included by default; you can bring your own or add a lunchbox during booking when available.
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure time.

Where do we meet?
The meeting point is Midgard Base Camp in Hvolsvöllur (Dufþaksbraut 14). Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure.
