Description

This tour takes you through scenic meadows, lava fields and along a small river, offering a relaxed introduction to the Icelandic countryside and traditional farming areas.

Along the way, we pass several farms that give insight into how agriculture in the region has developed over the past decades. The riding trails are well suited for enjoying the special gait of the Icelandic horse, the smooth and comfortable tölt.

The route follows easy and pleasant riding paths, allowing riders to focus on the surroundings and enjoy the rhythm of the ride. At the end of the tour, guests are invited for coffee and home-baked cake at the farm.

This tour is suitable for riders of all experience levels. Beginners and experienced riders ride together, and the pace is adapted to the group. We focus on tölt whenever possible and do not gallop for safety reasons.
