Description

See Iceland’s greatest hits in one easy combo: the classic Golden Circle in the daytime, then a Northern Lights hunt after dark.

Your day tour covers the three headline stops: Þingvellir National Park, the bubbling geothermal area of Geysir (where Strokkur erupts regularly), and the powerful Gullfoss waterfall. It’s an efficient route designed to give you a full taste of the Golden Circle in a shorter timeframe.

After returning to Reykjavík (typically around 19:00), you’ll have a few hours to enjoy the city before the evening Northern Lights tour begins. The aurora trip takes you out of town to search for clearer, darker skies, with the route chosen based on cloud cover, weather and solar activity.

Because the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, sightings are never guaranteed. If the lights don’t appear on your tour, you’re welcome to join again free of charge. Return times can vary if activity is good.
