Description
Evening meet-up in Grundarfjörður: Arrive at the meeting point, check in with your guide and get fitted with your gear before heading out for a late-evening paddle.
Safety & gear-up: You’ll be provided with an undersuit, drysuit, life jacket, shoes and gloves. After a full safety demonstration and easy paddling instruction, you’re ready to launch.
Midnight sun magic on the sea: Glide across still water as the golden light stretches across the fjord. This is one of the most atmospheric ways to experience Snæfellsnes in summer.
Kirkjufell from the water: Paddle with Mt. Kirkjufell in view and enjoy changing perspectives as the light shifts. There are stops at scenic spots where you can take photos or simply soak up the silence.
Time on the water: The tour lasts about 3 hours in total, with roughly 2 hours kayaking on the sea depending on conditions and group pace.
Warm finish: Return to shore for warm refreshments and a relaxed wrap-up before you head off into the bright Icelandic night.
