Description
Combine Iceland’s famous Golden Circle with a warm geothermal soak at the Secret Lagoon and a photo-perfect stop at Kerið volcanic crater. This full-day tour is all about seeing the classics, then ending the day feeling like you’ve hit “reset.”
Why this combo works so well
The Golden Circle is Iceland’s most iconic sightseeing route, featuring Þingvellir National Park, the Geysir geothermal area, and Gullfoss waterfall. On this tour you also visit Kerið crater and enjoy entry to the Secret Lagoon, one of Iceland’s oldest geothermal pools, known for its natural setting and calm, local vibe.
Kerið volcanic crater
Start with Kerið, a striking volcanic crater with vivid red slopes and a blue-green lake below. The paths are straightforward and the views are instant, making it one of the most rewarding “quick stops” of the day.
Secret Lagoon soak (38–40°C)
Next, it’s time to unwind at the Secret Lagoon, where the geothermal water stays around 38–40°C. Located in the countryside near Flúðir, the pool is surrounded by steaming vents and bubbling hot springs, creating that uniquely Icelandic “warm water, cold air” magic. You’ll have time to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere before continuing the sightseeing route.
Geysir geothermal area
After your soak, head to the Geysir area to see Strokkur erupt and watch the landscape hiss and steam with geothermal energy. It’s one of the best places in Iceland to feel the planet at work.
Gullfoss waterfall
Gullfoss is the grand finale of power and scale, with glacial water plunging into a canyon and sending spray high into the air. On clear days, rainbows often appear in the mist.
Þingvellir National Park
Finish the day at Þingvellir, where you can walk in the rift valley between tectonic plates and explore one of Iceland’s most important historical landscapes.
With Reykjavík pick-up available, Wi-Fi on board, and a well-paced itinerary, this is an ideal choice if you want the Golden Circle’s must-sees plus a genuine hot-spring experience at the Secret Lagoon.
