Where is the meeting point?
The meeting point is at Sólheimajökull Base Camp. Some glacier meeting points do not have a traditional street address, but the exact location is easy to find on Google Maps.
Why do I need to arrive before the departure time?
Please arrive at least 20–30 minutes early so your guide can fit glacier equipment such as crampons and harnesses before the tour begins.

What should I wear on a glacier walk?

How far is the glacier from the parking area?
It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the base camp to the glacier on an easy path. The final section is slightly steeper but manageable for most people.
