Description
Arrival & preparation: The adventure begins at the base camp near Mýrdalsjökull, where you meet your guide, gear up, and receive a short safety briefing before heading out on powerful ATVs.
Black sand ride: Once on the open plains of Sólheimasandur, you ride across vast black sand terrain shaped by volcanic eruptions and glacial floods, with the Atlantic Ocean stretching along the dramatic South Coast.
Off-road experience: The route includes sections of uneven terrain and shallow river crossings, offering a true off-road feel while maintaining a controlled and beginner-friendly pace.
