Description

Arrival & preparation
The tour starts at the operator’s base in Grindavík. After check-in, you receive a safety briefing and are fitted with helmets, overalls, and all required ATV equipment.

ATV ride across Reykjanes
You head out across the Reykjanes Peninsula, riding along gravel tracks and open terrain shaped by volcanic activity. The route follows coastal paths and black sand areas near the Mid-Atlantic Ridge.

Geothermal & volcanic sights
Along the way, you explore steaming geothermal areas, lava formations, and landscapes created by eruptions over thousands of years, offering a striking contrast between fresh lava and older volcanic rock.
